Specialized Children’s Assessment Team (SCAT)

This Timmins based program allows agencies and school boards to refer children requiring multiple assessment (with parental consent) to this program.  Once the referral has been accepted, the needed assessments are completed by professionals from the member organizations within a time frame.  A meeting is then arranged with the parents to present the findings of the assessments.  This benefits the child greatly, and prevents long wait times for individual assessments to be completed.
