REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS:
CLOUTIER'S MACHINE SHOP LIMITED IS CERTIFIED BY THE C.W.B.
Due to the ever growing demand by customers and Cloutier's Machine Shop's commitment to quality workmanship the company took the necessary steps to become certified by the Canadian Welding Bureau.
On December 7, 1987, Cloutier's Machine Shop Limited was certified by the Canadian Welding Bureau to CSA W47.1-92 to perform welding on steel construction and structures. These include machinery base plates, frames, building structures, bridge structures, road machinery, heavy equipment, etc... On October 7, 1994, Cloutier's Machine Shop was certified to CSA W47.2-M1987 for fusion welding of aluminum structures.
The W47.1-92 and W47.2-M1987 standards set the guidelines to ensure that proper welding procedures and practices are used for fusion welding of steel and aluminum. It also permits Cloutier's Machine Shop Limited to design new procedures (as long as they comply with CSA W47.1 guidelines) that we feel are necessary for special applications.
Through regular audits from the C.W.B. inspector and our retained
welding engineer, Cloutier's Machine Shop Limited keeps up to date with
the Canadian welding regulations.

In short, our quality program helps us to supply products and services to our customers' specifications. It ensures that the right material and workmanship is used to perform each job, big or small. Upon request we can supply our customers with material test reports, non-destructive test reports, manufacturing procedures, work flowcharts, quality plans, etc...
CLOUTIER'S MACHINE SHOP LIMITED IS AUTHORIZED BY THE T.S.S.A. TO BUILD AND REPAIR PRESSURE VESSELS
The Boilers and Pressure Vessels Act of Ontario specifies that any pressure retaining component operating at more than 15 psig and having a capacity of more that 1.5 cubic feet must be registered with the Technical Standards & Safety Authority ( T.S.S.A.) to operate in Ontario.
All manufacturing and repairs of such units must be performed by a qualified firm and must be performed in accordance with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Code.
Cloutier's Machine Shop Limited has been audited and authorized by
the T.S.S.A. to:
1/ Manufacture of pressure vessels in the shop
in accordance with ASME Boiler and
Pressure Vessel Code,
Section VIII, Division 1 and CSA Standard B51, Boiler,
Pressure Vessel and Pressure
Piping Code.
