PROJECT: REPAIRS TO #1 RECOVERY I.D. FAN ROTOR

The F.D. fan rotor on our client's #1 Recovery Boiler sustained damage when a piece of tramp material entered the air stream. The repair involved the removal of the damaged areas back to sound metal and welding in new material. The fan rotor was manufactured out of 316L stainless steel.
