I have been asked quite often why am I promoting real estate in northeastern Ontario. The answer is very simple. Today anyone with a computer can create a website but the search engines will never find many of these websites. Many sites are created by so-called web designers, college teachers and college students of Internet web design. Your site may look very well designed and very "impressive" however if your site does not follow the search engine rules for meta and html GOOD LUCK! You probably paid someone hundreds if not thousands of dollars for your site but if you are not in the top 20-50 and certainly if not in the top 100 they have probably wasted your money.

If you created your own website you will find lots of information on how to get recognized by the search engines. Most search engines just require simple coding, some require much more but do not believe everything, do more research and try to find the middle ground.

I use the K.I.S.S. method (Keep It Simple Stupid) and all of the sites and pages that I created can be easily found.

I have also been asked to fix the coding on personal sites and why don't I start a business and create more websites. The most important thing to do is to fix the coding on a site and quite often this is very simple however some sites require redesign or a total revamp.

Unfortunately I am not a salesperson. If they do not understand basic web design and how the search engines work, they just waste my time and their time.
