"Jackrabbit" Youth Program

It’s in a friendly atmosphere that the Hearst Ski Club offers ski lessons, from mid-December to the end of March, every Sunday starting at 1:30 p.m. The Jackrabbit Program gives youth the opportunity to learn cross-country skiing while having fun with their friends. This family program coaches children from 4 years old up to teenagers.

Motivated instructors and assistants will guide young skiers in the scenic ski trails. Young skiers are grouped in teams depending on their age and skill levels. The Jackrabitt Program lessons include basic and technical skills, plus some engaging games.

Come and register opening day, December 4th, for the 2011-2012 season. The first Jackrabbit session will be held on December 11th. Registration for the Jackrabbit program includes rental equipment for the season. The cost is 70$. All Jackrabbit's must be members of the ski club. The season will be comprised of ten Sunday afternoon sessions and end with the annual Loppet on April 1st.
