Courses Offered for 2005-2006


The Squadron l offered a much more detailed 12 week night course this past winter on navigational aids, charting, and other safe boating tips which qualifies graduates as Canadian Power Squadron and TTPSS members.

1. BOAT PRO COURSE

The Canadian Coast Guard accredited course which will qualify you for the new Pleasure Craft Operator Card (mandatory for young boaters in 1999, all operators of motorized recreational boats less than 4 metres in length and will be required by all by September 15, 2009). Open to non-members.

1. Boating and safety knowledge for new boat owners or "about-to-be" owners.
2. Boating as transportation for hunters, anglers, and cottagers.
3. An introduction to the BOATING course.

2. SAFE BOATING COURSE

3. VHF RADIO COURSE

2 nights - dates & location to be announced

4. WOMEN ON WATER
