In May and June of 2002 my sister Pat and I took a trip to Devon, Cornwall, Dorset, and Sussex in England. We first went to Plymouth and our friends Derrick and Eve took us around Devon and Cornwall. Then Pat and I went east to seaside places - the first being Torquay. Once there we toured about on local buses and also by many miles of walking!
Below are some photos of our trip - please take the time to let the page load. For our trip review please click here. I would love to hear of your comments so please email me at valerieb@ntl.sympatico.ca

A
street behind our hotel that had the very best Fish N' Chip shop - real
chips (not frozen like most) and fish cooked in lard for that extra good
flavour. (No diets on this trip!)

Church - on Sunday June 2 we actually went and sat in on some part of

It is a beautiful church and it had special flower arrangements for the
occassion.

sands and pier.
|
Another
view of Bournemouth sands. Bournemouth had the best sands but we did not
feel safe in Bournemouth as there were so many hooligans all over in gangs
- male and female. Also no pic of hotel - while the room was very clean
we did not feel safe there at all.
