Note: 1851 Census indicates John is married to an "Elizabeth". Living at Hook-a-Gate, Shropshire. 1861 Census indicates John is visiting his son John Jr. in Wednesbury, his wife "Elizabeth" is at home in Meole Brace, living alone but noting "married". At this time have not found a marriage record for John and Elizabeth.

Note: Madras, India birth records indicate Elizabeth and John were born to John Mansell, Private in the 13th Dragoons, stationed in India. Mother was indicated as "a native woman". Both baptised September 27, 1820 in Bangalore, India. Have not found a "mother" to Robert at this time.

UPDATE: I no longer believe we are connected to John Mansell and Susannah Littlehales at this time. I am however continuing to research this line.
