Designing
your kitchen cabinets is probably the most important step in the whole
procedure. Your kitchen must not only look great but must also answer
to all your personal needs. Here we have beautiful cabinets made
of stained oak.
These
white cabinets offer a clean and bright look. The framing of the
cabinets is made of birch and the door is made of MDF (Mid Density Board).
The cabinets and doors were then varnished with a white lacquer.
These
beautiful cabinets are made of knotty pine. They have been vanished
only (no stain) to show their beautiful colour. A planter was designed
right into the cabinets to suit the needs of this customer who has a big
thing for plants.
We
offer a variety of custom features from which our customers make their
selections according to their needs. If it's not on our list, don't
worry - we will gladly add it. Pictured here is what we call the
"S.O.S. tray" which we installed inside the fake drawer front where the
sink is. Very useful not only for the scrubbing pads but also to
store those little pieces which are always hard to find in the big drawers.
Right
beside it we find the "garbage roll-out". The door is attached to
a big drawer which slides right out. Even if its main purpose is
to store the garbage can, there is plenty of space to store various cleaning
products, paper towels, etc... P.S. Your regular step can fits
in there.
From
the kitchen to the bedroom, D. M. Woodworking also manufactures custom
furniture. Here we see a beautiful bedroom ensemble designed and
custom made for the customer. It is made of oak and the finish is
a white wash stain. Angled cabinets, 3-D doors, knick knack shelves,
mirrors, lights, electrical outlet & switch gives class to this bedroom
unit and of course, everything meets with the customer's needs.
Here
is something different! To meet an Oriented Strand Board Company's
demand to use their products to make cabinets for their lunchroom and computer
room, we have used oriented strand board. The results were actually
very surprising. The cabinets' frames were made of oak which was
also used to frame the doors and drawer fronts. The oriented strand
board was carefully sanded and stained with a white wash stain and the
results were amazing.
Why
not have a china cabinet that matches your kitchen cabinets? Here
are two different styles made by D. M. Woodworking. Both are made
of oak and have lights inside. The cabinet on the left has sliding
glass doors and mirrored inside with glass shelves while the cabinet on
the right has wood frame doors with glass inset and is finished in oak
with oak shelves. Different styles to suit different needs and different
tastes.
This
beautiful oak clock was specially designed to match the kitchen cabinets
on which each door was embossed with a wheat stem. Helping you by
providing the perfect accessories is always a pleasure.
Vanity - Various Styles Available
Vanities
are a big part of our manufacturing. Just as with the kitchen cabinets,
we take special care in designing a vanity that will meet your needs because
a vanity is not just a sink cabinet for the bathroom. Mix and match
thousands of different colours, hardware, layouts, woods, counter tops
and you will get a wide range of choices to complement your bathroom decor
and needs.
Dressers:
big or small, with shelves or with a mirror, why not? We make them
too. D. M. Woodworking will be happy to design dressers and night
tables, work centres, computer desks, filing cabinets, etc... for any bedroom,
office, play room or family room.
We
also make different benches, deacon, telephone centres, etc... Pictured
here is a telephone centre made of stained oak.
On
to the living room or family room, pictured here is a beautiful two piece
matching entertainment centre/wall unit. This is a very good example
of "custom work". This customer had a very small sitting area and
not very many walls to work with. One wall had beautiful french doors
and we decided to make this entertainment centre in two pieces and sit
them on each side of the doors. It really finishes the decor and
the whole wall became the focal point.
