Here's a wedding picture of me and Allan from May 1986, and
pictures of my girls from June 2000. I'll try and get a more recent picture
scanned into the computer, but basically, no one takes pictures of me.
I'm always the one taking the pictures in our family!
After Katimavik, I got a summer job in Banff. I worked there
for three summers. I met Allan during the
second summer, and married him at the start of the third summer. I got
an engineering degree in Calgary in
1989. We moved to North Vancouver after I graduated. I worked there for
ten years, (during which time I had Sarah in Feb 1995 and Amanda in April
1998) and got laid off when the Forestry industry took one of its'
downturns. I've been working in the computer department of the Vancouver
Public Library at the central branch (big building downtown - looks like
the colliseum in Rome) for the past three years. Allan is the executive
chef at the Best Western Sands Hotel on English Bay in downtown Vancouver.
Sarah is in grade one, and Amanda is in preschool. We have two goldfish,
named Goldeen and Prettyfish respectively.
