Sue Loftus

Whatever happened to Sue Loftus?

After Katimavik I returned to Whitehorse for 8 months--cut down trees, scraped paint and picked pine cones.

October 1984- April 1986: Travelled and worked(Israel & Northern Ireland) through Europe and the Middle East. My favorite countries, Portugal and Israel. I met many people, had adventures and avoided numerous potential misadventures.

May 1986- July 1987: Worked on a Thoroughbred horse farm in Caledon East while saving money to return to school.

September 1989-June 1989: Kikkawa College of Massage Therapy in Toronto. I spent 2 years with 20 other massage students studying our butts off! I passed the provincial exams and began my present occupation which I love! Interesting, low stress and most people walk out feeling better than when they came in. I specialize in deep myofascial techniques, borderline painful and highly effective.

August 1989 - August 1995: I moved to Kitchener-Waterloo and began working for a living again. I also decided to go by the short version of my first name, Kathy.

August 1995 - Present: I packed up my whole life and moved to Thunder Bay. I had spent 2 years deciding where I wanted to live and picked Thunder Bay. It reminds me of Whitehorse. It just has a big lake instead of big mountains. I also decided to go by my full name, Kathryn.

Present passions in my life include: Yoga, Process Therapy, Bellydance and Sea Kayaking.
