The 500 TPD underground copper mine was operated by North Canadian Enterprises Ltd between October 1965 & November 1972 when operations ceased.
Bill Glover worked on the construction crew in 1965 that dewatered the shaft, installed the hoist and constructed the 500 TPD mill & surface facilities. Bill returned in 1966, after completing his high school diploma, to work underground at the operating Coppercorp Mine.
