A 1972 graduate of Queen's University (B.Sc., Mining
Engineering) and self-employed mining engineer since 1995, Bill
Glover is an underground mining specialist & contract project
manager (underground development, surface & underground
construction, permitting, business development & report writing).
With 30 years of hands-on mining experience at operating mines &
project sites in Canada & United States, Bill has also completed
short term mining assignments in South America with travel in Europe.
With a mining career which started as a student in 1963 at the Pater
Mine, Bill has been Project Manager on a number of mine construction
& development projects in addition to Mine Manager at two
mine-mill complexes in Northern Ontario.
Healthy & active, Bill & his partner placed 16th of 31
entries in the 9th annual Northern Prospectors Association's 15 km
Blanche River "HIGH WATER CANOE RACE" held May 8th, 1999. Married
with three grown children, Bill has a 4x4 truck, valid Canadian
passport & laptop computer.

As a SELF-EMPLOYED PROJECT MANAGER & MINING ENGINEER since
March 1995, projects have included: property evaluations in South
America, a tunnel project in Montana, underground development in
Ontario & Manitoba, construction, hoist installations, shaft
sinking, loading pocket installations, crown pillar mining,
feasibility studies, environmental certificates, bulk samples, ground
control planning, contract packages, business development, safety
liaison & procurement.

AGRA-SIMONS ( independent member of review committee,
HBMS 777 shaft),
BARRICK GOLD (Holt-McDermott shaft deepening);
KINROSS GOLD (Macassa loading pocket & conveyor);

contractor)…various assignments 1995-99 including business
development across Canada & site contracts with various
clients including:
MINE MANAGER, two divisions, 1250 TPD MACASSA UNDERGROUND GOLD
MINE & CIP MILL DIV.& LAKESHORE TAILINGS RECOVERY DIVISION.
While mine manager, Bill's operating team completed a mine, mill
& tailings facility expansion from 60,000 to a record 100,000
ounces gold per annum at the 60 year old Macassa underground gold
mine….mining in rockbursting ground below 7,000 feet.

foreman, mine captain, mine superintendent, general mine
superintendent, project engineer & project manager in : gold,
nickel, copper, iron ore, uranium & industrial minerals.

Macassa No.3 shaft - deepest single-lift timbered shaft in the
world at 7239 feet..
